The opening ceremony of multi-country invitation education course「KRIHS-ADB Municipal Capacity Building Program」

KRIHS Global Development Cooperation Center held a KRIHS-Asian Development Bank officials capacity building program to share accumulated experience and knowledge related to Korea's urban development, urban transport, disaster prevention and water resources treatment etc. with 8 foreign officals from seven countries-India, Pakistan, Mongolia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka at the 4th floor conference room Ecole Monday, November 24.
This invitation course jointly organized by KRIHS and Asian Development Bank (ADB) is in progress from Monday, November 24 to Friday, November 28. Visited officials will attend seminars on areas such as Korea's urban development policy, regional development, disaster prevention, green infrastructure, water resources treatment, solid waste disposal and smart city and take the related field trips to the Anyang city hall U-city all-source situation room, Land & Housing Corporation The Green, the Gangnam resource recovery facility, the Jungrang sewage treatment center and the Sihwa tidal power plant.
The openning ceremony began with welcoming speech of KRIHS President, Kim Kyung-hwan, Monday, November 24th.
Next, researcher Jo Jin-cheol of KRIHS introduced KRIHS and Global Development Cooperation Center to trainees.
This invitation course is planning to provide an opportunity touring Dongdaemun, Seoul National Museum so the trainees can experience Korean culture as well.
